Moreland School District supports highly sought-after elective programs which consistently provide students with 21st Century Learning experiences and empower Thrive Project Lead the Way steam classes encourage real world activities and projects which help students connect to the world around them while learning Core Concepts watching students create and program their own apps and are intro to computer science class has been really exciting this year in addition to computer science students have also have the opportunity express our creativity Hands-On by designing and building their own machines in my Automation and robotics class has open my mind to whole new world of possibilities when I think about my future career I really enjoyed learning how to make my own apps using MIT App Inventor I also like learning how to program in pi because I got to create my own variables and solve many problems that it couldn't calculate alone this year we were able to continue our robotics building and programming from last year too networking assembly line to take it a step further we added energy in the environment to are pltw courses they really got an opportunity to blend the science and engineering parts to including building alternative energy source prototypes make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich another person to fall with the desire in line it was finally go through the process of drawing furring out the right measurements can sing the final product students team focused musically talented active in theater the visual arts are interested in our Foods programs Moreland all schools at Latimer Easterbrook Discovery and Moreland Middle have unique elective offerings for more information on a rollman opportunities at our Middle School please visit ww.w.
