Meet the Office Staff

Mrs. Hilary Gill has been the principal at Latimer School since 2020 and has worked in the Moreland School District since 1998 as a teacher, Dean, and Assistant Principal.  She is passionate about working alongside the community in order to provide a rich, engaging academic experience for all students. What she loves about being a principal at Latimer: “I love working with our Latimer students and families to see them grow from TK-8th grade. It is such an honor to be able to be a part of this time with families.”

Mrs. Jenna Naylor began her career as a teacher in Stockton, CA in 2005 where she enjoyed teaching 1st grade, 4th grade, and Reading Intervention for several years. Jenna joined Moreland School District in 2014 at Baker Elementary School where she was a 1st grade teacher and then an Assistant Principal. Jenna joined the Latimer team in October of 2020. One thing Jenna loves about being an Assistant Principal is getting to know the students and making connections with them. Watching the students grow and learn over the years is just the best!

Mrs. Erin Hammer joined the Moreland Community in 2016 as a parent volunteer. Erin has been involved at Latimer School as a volunteer with the Latimer Home & School Club and with the Moreland Education Foundation. She has spent time volunteering in classrooms and running school events such as the Bookfair, Read-A-Thon and Move Your Feet Fridays.  She joined Moreland School District as an employee in 2021 during Distance Learning and became part of the Latimer office team in 2022.  Erin enjoys meeting Latimer families and working with our incredible staff!

Ms. Stacie Smith began her career as a preschool teacher where she enjoyed working with children and families for over 20 years. Stacie joined the Latimer School office team in 2022 as an Office Assistant. She welcomes all of our students and families to the office each morning. Her favorite part about being at Latimer is the welcoming community and caring staff.

Mrs. Maria Garcia-Jimenez started her adventure in Moreland School District as an Instructional Aide in 2009. She worked with Kindergarten and SDC preschool students for six years before she moved to Latimer School in 2016. One thing that I love as a community Liaison is; “As our community keeps growing I love to help our new family to become familiar and be part of our beautiful Moreland Community. It is amazing to watch how our students that joined our District without any English become fluent in English and adapt to their daily routine at school so quickly.”
