We welcome and encourage our families to be part of their students’ school experience by volunteering at Latimer.

Volunteer opportunities include time spent with the Latimer Home & School Club events, working in your student’s classroom, chaperoning field trips, and more! 

All of our parent volunteers are required to have a TB test/result or a 

TB Risk Assessment form on file.

The office needs to have a TB test on file for everyone volunteering during the school day, including field trips. You can turn in your test or a waiver filled out by a medical professional to the office. This includes Latimer HSC volunteers & chaperones. A link to the waiver can be found HERE and must be filled out by a medical provider. Pages 1 and 3 need to be returned to the front office. A list of local TB testing sites can be found on the Santa Clara County Office of Education website, HERE. Many of these sites are walk in, low/no cost facilities. Copies of your waiver and/or test results should be dropped off to the office or emailed to Erin Hammer ([email protected]).
