Kindergarten Coffee

Kindergarten parents and families new to Latimer - Please join us on Friday, August 30th after drop off for coffee in the Kinder Play Yard. This event is hosted by Home & School Club. Coffee and snacks will be provided. Come learn about programs and events at Latimer, and ways that you can volunteer to be involved in the Latimer Community. We hope you will join us, we would love to welcome you to the Latimer Community!

First Day of School

The first day of school for all students is Thursday, August 22nd. If your child will be absent for any reason, call our Absence Line at 408-874-3610. If your child has not attended by the second day of school, Friday, August 23rd, he/she will be dropped from enrollment and you will need to re-register at the Enrollment Center for a class placement in the district. This placement may or may not be at Latimer School. Tentative class lists for grades K-8 will be posted in the office window at 4:00pm on Wednesday, August 21st. Kona Ice will also be on site selling shaved ice - a portion of your purchase will be donated to Latimer!

Middle School Awards

Our Middle School Awards Assembly is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, June 7, at 8:30. While the assembly is focused on our 8th grade students, there will also be some awards for 6th and 7th grade students.

6th and 7th Grade-Students earning Honor Roll for all 3 trimesters will be recognized, with special recognition for those earning straight A's.

7th Grade-Students successfully completing the requirements for CJSF will be recognized.

8th Grade-Students earning Honor Roll for at least 7 trimesters during middle school will be recognized, with special recognition for students earning straight A's for all 9 trimesters. Students successfully completing the requirements for CJSF will be recognized. Students receiving Department awards (Music, Math, Science, PE, Language Arts, and Social Studies) will be recognized.
