Announcement from Superintendent Mary Kay Going, Ed.D. - Hybrid Opening Postponed

I am writing today to inform you that Moreland Schools will not be implementing a hybrid model beginning in January due to significant increasing numbers of cases in our county and across the state and country, and will instead continue in full distance learning.  As our county enters the purple tier, with higher numbers than ever before, it is not prudent nor possible for our schools to move toward in-person instruction at this time.  Again, the safety of staff and students is our first priority.  Our intended decision date was December 1, 2020, but we are making this announcement today to provide some peace and clarity in your lives as you enter your much needed vacation week.  We will reevaluate the status of COVID in January 2021, with an announcement in early February.  Read the full message here.
