Several Moreland School District teachers have been awarded Innovation Grants through the Moreland Education Foundation (MEF) Small Grants Program. Over $8,000 in grant money was awarded to the four schools who applied and presented their idea at the December MEF Board Meeting.

We are thrilled to announce that the Lawrence Hall of Science will be coming to Latimer on December 15! They will host an interactive festival called "Build, Engineer and Invent!" for our K-5 students. We need 12 parent volunteers per shift to help run the stations throughout the day; parents will receive a mini-training prior to the students arriving on how to ensure your station is a success. It is already the end of the first trimester! There will be early dismissal for ALL students November 30th, December 8th. Kindergarten will be dismissed at 12:50 and 1st-8th grade will be dismissed at 1:35pm. Wednesdays will continue to be the normal 12:50pm dismissal time for all students.

Bookmark contest entries are due to your teacher or the front office by November 16th. The book fair will run from November 14th - November 16th...see below for more details!
