Latimer will have its annual Halloween Parade at 8:20am on October 31st. Students should come to school with their costumes over their school clothes as they will be removing costumes following the parade. Students are allowed to wear masks as long as they do not impede their vision and are not too scary or gruesome. No weapons of any kind are allowed at school. We have early dismissal that day with kinders out at 12:50pm and the rest of the school out at 1:35pm. Have a happy and safe Halloween and enjoy the day off on Friday, November 1st!

Latimer School and Clothes Bin have partnered to collect and recycle old clothing, shoes, and textiles! Just place these items in the green recycling bin in our front and back parking lots and every pound of recycled items supports our school!

Join us for Latimer’s 1st bike rodeo through San Jose’s Walk N Roll program! This fun event will be held on the primary blacktop from 1:15-2:00pm. All participants need to know how to ride a bike or a scooter and bring a helmet! Kids will learn the rules of the road, ride the safety course, and practice safe cycling skills! Permission slips can be found in the Wednesday envelope and must be turned in.

Get ready for Latimer’s 5th Annual Walk-A-Thon. All money raised by the Home & School Club directly benefits our students and staff by providing enrichment programs such as Reading and Art, Middle School Electives, Field Trips, and Teacher and Classroom Resources. Our Annual Harvest Hop Family Dance will be on Friday, September 27 from 5:00pm-7:00pm!  During this fun community event, the Home & School Club hosts our fun Silent Auction!  All of the money we earn during our Silent Auction helps provide enrichment activities to our children - Art Vista, ABC Cornerstone, Band and Orchestra events, Field Trips and more!
