Cardboard Day – April 29!
One of Latimer's favorite traditions is back! On Wednesday, April 29 from 10:30–11:30 AM, students will use their creativity and imagination to build amazing creations out of cardboard. To pull this off, we need your help! We're collecting donations of:
- Cardboard – shipping boxes, cereal boxes, paper towel tubes, egg cartons, and more
- Tape – masking, duct, packaging, painter's…all kinds welcome!
- Cardboard cutters – to help students safely cut their materials
Donations can be dropped on the cart outside the front gate of Latimer School starting Tuesday, April 22. Students are also welcome to bring in their own cardboard on the day of the event. Watch for communication from your child's classroom teacher about volunteer needs and how you can support the day. Please note that all cardboard creations must go home with students on April 29 — anything left behind will go out with the recycling.
Inspired by the global Cardboard Challenge, this day celebrates creativity, problem-solving, and the magic of what kids can build with their imaginations!
