Hello 8th grade famlilies,
The end of the school year brings many exciting events and assemblies for our students and families. Please make sure you mark your calendars for the events below. There are many celebrations planned at the end of the year and we want to make sure you have all the information you need.
We encourage all of our middle school families to attend the Open House on May 23. Student work will be displayed and it is your final chance to see the hard work your student has put into their years at Latimer School! Additionally, our Art Showcase in the MU will feature several Middle School elective art projects, a collaborative art piece by our Middle School students, and music from our Symphonic Orchestra.
For the 8th Grade Awards Ceremony, families will be notified if your child is receiving an award. We ask in advance that you keep this a surprise from your student. All are welcome to attend to help congratulate our Lions.
The end of the year takes many hands to put together. We ask that you help one more time and provide donations toward our final send off at the 8th grade picnic! Students will receive their yearbooks at this time, play games and have snacks. Snacks and drink donations are appreciated. You can sign up HERE.
