What is MEF?

Moreland Educational Foundation is an all-volunteer, fundraising and community building non-profit organization which supports all Moreland School District schools.

How has MEF helped Latimer?

In addition to providing funding for the music and middle school sports program at Latimer, MEF has funded 6th Grade PBL Family Math Night, the Lawrence Hall of Science Assembly, the Latimer Lion Costume, and 2 portable sound systems.

How does MEF provide all this funding?

Each Spring, MEF hosts a fund drive fundraiser to raise money to support Moreland programs such as: Music, After School Sports, Art & Science Assemblies, and more. Additionally, MEF has provided support for lower class sizes in K-3, libraries, technology, and teacher training and funds for innovative math and language arts curriculums.
